TOKYO, Oct 4 Asia Pulse - Japanese computer systems provider and think tank Nomura Research Institute Ltd. (TSE:4307) is on track to distribute dividends of 180 yen per share for the year ending March 2007, up 40 yen from a year earlier and 10 yen higher than previously projected.
With this fourth straight year of increases, the company will achieve its goal of boosting its dividend payout ratio to 30 per cent.
Its earnings are growing at a better-than-expected pace. Upon reporting the April-June quarter results in July, the company upgraded its projected group net profit to 25.5 billion yen (US$216 million), an increase of 13 per cent on the year.
