Oct. 4--ANNA -- Lisa Paine's fifth-graders spent most of the day outside Tuesday, got dirty and learned a thing or two. The boys and girls traipsed around the recently completed Collin County Adventure Camp, a 427-acre publicly funded retreat from city life. "I'm hoping they will get more excited about learning about nature and spend less time sitting in front of the TV," said Ms. Paine, who teaches at Finch Elementary School in McKinney.
