Britain is reaping the rewards of decades of hard work by cheesemakers. The marketing and quality of mature Cheddar have improved, and dozens of small-scale speciality cheese producers are bringing exciting new products to the market.
A revival of interest in quality dairy products in the UK has over time been matched by a growing reputation in overseas markets, driving the sort of export growth figures that most manufacturers can only dream about.
