Anti-virus company, Kaspersky Lab, has identified five new variants of the Warezov email worm. The new variants - Worm.Win32.Warezov.bv, .bx, .bw, .bu, .by and .ca - were detected on 2 October just before 7pm and follow the outbreak on 25 September of Warezov.at.
The worms all have similar functionality, other than file names and registry strings. The worm uses its own SMTP engine to send itself to e-mail addresses harvested from the Windows address book on the infected machine. The subject line, ...
