Oct. 5--STOCKTON -- Attorneys for two Jus Brothers Motorcycle Club members convicted in a 2004 fatal bar brawl argued Wednesday that a trial judge who feels threatened by bikers should not be allowed to order prison sentences in the case. San Joaquin County Superior Court Judge Linda L. Lofthus further tainted herself when she openly cried during the jury trial, failed to dismiss a juror who knew the victim's family and accepted a gift from the jurors, defense attorneys wrote in a motion seeking to have the judge dismissed from the case.
