The Pflu is quickly spreading at Sheldon High School.
And Alex Besaw is happy to have the fevered receiver.
Besaw was 21-of-24 passing for 376 yards and six touchdowns, including three scores to Aaron Pflugrad, helping the No. 3 Irish defeat Thurston 42-6 in a nonleague football game Friday night at Sheldon.
In his first home game with Sheldon (3-0), Pflugrad had eight receptions for 185 yards and three first-half touchdowns to help the Irish surge to a 35-6 halftime lead.
