Oct. 6--Almost every high school football game involving area schools this weekend has been postponed, including three Peninsula District games and all five Bay Rivers District games. Friday night's Woodside-Warwick high school football game at Todd Stadium in Newport News has been postponed until Monday night at 7. Both weekend games at Darling Stadium are off until Monday. Saturday's Gloucester-Bethel game will be played at 3:30, then Friday's Kecoughtan-Hampton game will be at 7. That will mean a short week for Hampton, which has a game scheduled against Denbigh next Thursday. Newport News athletic officials say they won't make a decision on Saturday's game ...
