NORTH, SOUTH BATTLE AGAIN IN CIVIL WAR RE-ENACTMENT.(News)

PERRYVILLE -- Thousands of Civil War re-enactors will descend on central Kentucky this weekend to tread on the battle ground where 7,500 Union and Confederate died in the Battle of Perryville.

The Perryville Battlefield State Historic Site is host to the 2006 National Civil War Re-enactment on Saturday and Sunday, marking the first return of the event to the site in four years.
