Oct. 7--Two Utah companies that make eyeglass retainers, lanyards and other accessories favored by outdoor recreationists -- Chums and Chisco -- are merging.
The consolidated company will have its headquarters at Chisco's existing offices and warehouse at 2424 S. 2570 West in West Valley City. Customer service, marketing and product customization will be handled out of that facility. Manufacturing of product lines will be centralized at the Chums plant in Hurricane when the merger is finalized, probably next month.
Eyewear products, including retainers and lanyards, will be sold under the Chums names. Other accessories will ...
