Reckitt Benckiser acquires Boots Healthcare Brands In India
New Delhi, Oct 9 (PTI) Following its 1.9 billion Euro (over Rs 10,950 crore) global acquisition of Boots Healthcare International last year, Reckitt Benckiser today said it has acquired former Boots brands -- Strepsils, Clearsil and Sweetex -- in India from October this year.
The multi-crore brands were being marketed and sold by Boots Piramal Joint Venture till September.
"This is a monumental occasion for Reckitt Benckiser India as these brands will substantially strengthen Reckitt Benckiser's position in both healthcare and personal care.
