In late July, the new Neumag Carding Center was officially opened at Neumag Austria (formerly Fehrer) in Linz, Austria. The center contains a carded nonwovens production line extending from bale opening to end product winding and offers a complete process with FOR fiber preparation and carding, Autefa crosslapping and Fehrer needlepunching technologies. The new carding center will help customers and interested parties develop new products and ideas while allowing Neumag to internally develop components, machines and fully integrated processes using the various technologies of the Neumag Nonwovens Portfolio.
