NEW DELHI, Oct 10 Asia Pulse - Following its 1.9 billion Euro (US$2.4 billion) global acquisition of Boots Healthcare International last year, Reckitt Benckiser on Monday said it has acquired former Boots brands -- Strepsils, Clearsil and Sweetex -- in India from October this year.

The brands were being marketed and sold by Boots Piramal Joint Venture till September.

"This is a monumental occasion for Reckitt Benckiser India as these brands will substantially strengthen Reckitt Benckiser's position in both healthcare and personal care.
