MIAMI, May 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Royal Caribbean Cruise Line announced today that the company's newest ship, the 1,808-pasenger Legend of the Seas, will sail Panama Canal and Alaska cruises as well as Royal Caribbean's first-ever Hawaiian Islands voyages in its 1995 inaugural season. The ship's maiden voyage, an 11-night transit of the Panama Canal between Miami and Los Angeles, is scheduled to depart May 16, 1995. The 70,000-ton vessel is currently under construction at Chantiers de l'Atlantique shipyard in St. Nazaire, France.
