Many makers look to Congress for relief
WASHINGTON--Vitamin suppliers and retailers will be keeping an eye on Congress this session, with many of the former hoping that legislators exempt them from stringent Food and Drug Administration labeling regulations that they consider to be unfair. While some manufacturers are embracing the new regulations as a means of differentiating their products in an increasingly crowded marketplace, most have at least some reservations.
