WASHINGTON, May 24 /PRNewswire/ -- The Department of Energy (DOE) today released details about the process used to select the Oak Ridge (Tenn.) Reservation and the Nevada Test Site as additional alternative sites to be evaluated for their suitability for spent nuclear fuel management activities. Today's release fulfills a DOE commitment to disclose the site-selection process used to identify additional alternative sites for evaluation.
