LOUISVILLE, Ky. and ATLANTA, May 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Columbia/HCA Healthcare Corporation (NYSE: COL) and Emory University today announced the signing of letters of intent to create two joint ventures in health care in Atlanta.
The signing follows discussions between Emory and Columbia/HCA, and authorization by the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees of Emory University. Final agreements are expected to be negotiated over the next five to six months.
533-bed Crawford Long Hospital of Emory University will be joint ventured with Columbia/HCA's eight hospital network in Atlanta. Columbia/HCA will be the general partner of this joint venture, with Emory ...
