Oct. 12--Four students were expelled from Preston County schools after hearings at a special Tuesday session of the Board of Education.

"Three of them are drug-related, and one of them was just a bad boy," board member Jane Crogan said.

Two male students and one female student were expelled from Preston High for drug-related offenses, Crogan said. One student was a senior and two were juniors. The drug offenses were level-four violations, from a scale of one to four, Crogan said. Levelfour violations are punished by expulsion for a year, as mandated by state board of education codes, Crogan said.
