WILLIAMSBURG, Va. -- Solidarity, fraternity, high esteem for the priesthood and a genuine sense of celebration marked the mood of the 257 priests gathered here April 25-28 for the 26th annual National Federation of Priests' Councils convention.
The theme, "Decisions for the Future: Priestly Leadership in the 21st Century," built on findings from an organization assessment and survey of priests, bishops and councils, "Project Future Directions" (NCR, March 11).
