The big day is finally here for Marcellus.
Friday is the formal dedication of the new Marcellus stadium. Events begin at 6 p.m. and will include a procession of athletic teams, the presentation of the field and a formal ribbon cutting.
After the dedication, Marcellus will take on Westhill in a varsity football game.
All of the events take place at the George Arthur Athletic Stadium Complex at the high school. Arthur is a former athletic director for Marcellus schools.
The first game on the new synthetic turf field was played Sept. 22, when the girls' soccer team beat Cazenovia, 5-0. ...
