IT'S ALMOST a surprise that this performance at KoKo is Dita Von Teese's first in the UK - the dancer better known to her mother as Heather Renee Sweet has been a cultural fixture for what feels like years now.
Beginning the century as the toast of popular gentlemen's periodical Playboy, then gaining the attention of rather more upmarket publications as the focal point of the eversnowballing burlesque revival, she's now famous enough - and her marriage to Marilyn Manson hasn't hurt - to be on the pages of the gossip press.
