Thrivent Investment Management, a Minneapolis-based unit of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, has appointed Douglas D. Sims, 60, to its mutual fund board of directors.
Mr. Sims is the former chief executive officer of Greenwood Village, Colo.-based CoBank. He has more than 35 years' experience within the Farm Credit System and has held various lending and general management positions.
Mr. Sims served as chief executive officer of CoBank from 1994 until his retirement in June 2006.
