Oct. 13--A vehicle fatally struck a pedestrian on Roosevelt Boulevard this morning, police said. An unidentified woman in her 30s was hit shortly after 2:30 a.m. as she crossed the boulevard at Wyoming Avenue in Olney. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene just before 3 a.m. The vehicle, which was traveling northbound on the boulevard, did stop after hitting the woman. The victim is the third person to be hit on the boulevard in about two weeks. An 11-year-old was critically injured Tuesday when he was struck by a SUV as he exited a SEPTA bus at Third Street in Feltonville. And Shane Philson, 7, was killed Sept. 26 as ...
