NASSAU, Bahamas, Oct. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- The reigning 2006 NBA (National Basketball Association) Champion Miami HEAT will return to their home court on Tuesday, October 31, 2006, for their official season opener against the Chicago Bulls, and like a good neighbor, The Islands Of The Bahamas will be there. The Bahamas, which served as the backdrop for the 2005 and 2006 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issues, has entered a three-year partnership with the Miami HEAT that will include a number of Bahamas-themed nights at the AmericanAirlines Arena.
