A good picture is worth a thousand words. A bad picture is worth just one word: ouch. If you want to fill your photo album with pictures that look good, you'll need to learn some tricks of the trade. Here are some tips from the Weekly Reader photo experts.
1. Frame it. There's nothing worse than a picture that cuts off someone's head. Leave plenty of room around your subject. Put your subject in the center of the picture, and get close. People shouldn't have to guess what you were trying to take a picture of. Make your subject large and in charge.
2. Keep it simple. When you take a picture, you'll want to focus on the subject. That may be hard for people ...
