NEW YORK -- More than half of contact lens wearers find it uncomfortable to keep them in place while suffering from allergies, leading many to either change their lens-wearing habits or abandon lenses until allergy season passes.
That is among the findings of a new survey conducted on behalf of the Vistakon division of Johnson & Johnson Vision Care Inc.
Some 2 million allergy sufferers have eye allergies as their primary allergy, according to the Asthma & Allergy Foundation of America.
