Oct. 17--Dallas Baptist University will honor business and civic leader David Dean, chairman and chief executive of Dean International Inc ., on Friday at the Hilton Anatole Hotel. U.S. Rep. Kenny Marchant will be the keynote speaker at the 19th annual Russell H. Perry Free Enterprise Award Dinner at 7 p.m. The Russell H. Perry award recognizes Dallas business and community leaders for success in the marketplace and contributions to society. Since its inception, the award dinner has raised enough money to fund scholarship for more than 1,000 students.
