For more than 30-years the regal handiwork of Imperial Woodworking has given a "functional elegance" to corporate headquarters from coast to coast.
Entering the foyer of the USG building in downtown Chicago, a visitor is confronted with a soaring entranceway of wood integrated with marble and metal. Veneered pillars rise 40 feet from a base of marble to meet the plaster ceiling.
