Oct. 17--When Evan Bingham was born this summer, his father, Pat, called some of his friends to tell them. These friends just also happened to be a lot of the new Komets coach's former players. Now some of them are his players again.
"We keep in touch all the time," forward Bogdan Rudenko said. "Sometimes you just click with somebody from the get-go, and you try to help each other out. Pat always tries to help you out, so you do your best for him."
It's usually a good sign when players are willing to follow a coach to a new city, and Rudenko is one of four former Bingham players who have followed him to Fort Wayne. The ...
