Finance Ministry changes its position on setting up Bank of Development - source (Part 2)
MOSCOW. Oct 17 (Interfax) - The Finance Ministry has changed its position on the concept of establishing a Bank of Development, a source in the government told Interfax.
The idea so far was that the Bank of Development would be established based at Vnesheconombank (VEB) and then the Russian Bank of Development and Roseximbank would join it. Along with the functions and tasks of the Bank of Development, VEB would continue working with the foreign debt and servicing centralized foreign and economic operations, the source said.
