A "Consider This" item in The Post-Standard Opinion section on Oct. 8 indicates that I owe the taxpayers a full explanation of the financial relationship that the village of North Syracuse has with the village of Marcellus.
There is none.
Since I became mayor, there have been no agreements with the Marcellus Police Department. Before I became mayor, the prior administration did have an agreement with Marcellus, which was passed on Sept. 28, 1998, by the North Syracuse Village Board and was subsequently terminated at a Dec. 9, 1999, meeting also by the North Syracuse Village Board.
