Oct. 19--CUYAHOGA FALLS -- The Cuyahoga Valley National Park might get a new way to tell whether the Cuyahoga River is safe for visitors within two years. That assessment was offered Wednesday by researcher Rebecca Bushon of the U.S. Geological Survey at a two-day symposium on the river at Sheraton Suites that ends today. Bushon has been working since 2004 in the park to prove that a quick-count method of measuring harmful bacteria in the river is effective.
