LOS ANGELES, Oct. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Today the California Department of Water Resources unveiled a Draft Environmental Impact Report that outlines various alternatives for restoring the Salton Sea. The Yes on Proposition 84 campaign today emphasized that the measure provides critical funds for Salton Sea restoration and related water quality and supply projects essential to Southern California.
Proposition 84 - the Clean Water and Coastal Protection Bond Act of 2006 - on the November 7 statewide ballot, provides $47 million specifically for Salton Sea Authority restoration. An ...
