A specialist nursery retailer has been fined $860,000, convicted of breaching a mandatory consumer product safety standard for baby walkers and convicted of misrepresenting the cot's compliance with the Australian standard.

"Skippy Australia Pty Ltd supplied goods nationally from its warehouse premises in Cheltenham, Victoria and through its website (www.babygoodsaustralia.com.au) and on the Australian eBay auction website", ACCC Chairman, Mr Graeme Samuel, said today.
