Oct. 19--Twice the space, better lighting, equipment and amenities gave Salina Vortex president Lee Young plenty to point out Wednesday as he led a tour of his new building.

"We've taken the opportunity to move things upscale," he said while walking Salina Airport Authority staff and board members through the 120,000-square-foot plant.

Three kitchens, a conference center, weight room with showers and a product demonstration room with remote Web cam capabilities are among the highlights of the new Salina Vortex headquarters.
