Dhaka, Oct 19 (UNB) - Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) Thursday gave compensation to the families of 14 garment workers who died on duty at different times.
Women and Children Affairs Advisor Barkatullah Bulu handed over the cheques of life insurance worth Tk one lakh to each family at a function at BGMEA office. Acting BGMEA president Moin Uddin Ahmed (Mintu) presided.
