Oct. 20--A Belgian sheepdog named Hollie is full of spunk again and, for that, Debbie Hoster is very grateful.

Hollie, an East Side pooch and service dog, was unable to walk a few months ago and had to go undergo two surgeries to correct two torn knee ligaments.

Strangers who heard of Hollie's plight donated nearly $4,000 to pay for the operations. About $1,700 more is still needed to cover all the costs of the surgeries.

"I was just so overwhelmed," said Hoster, who relies on Hollie and Hollie's brother, Cody, to help her around the house and out in the community.
