Rep. Bruce Hanna, a soft drink distributor who is running for a second full term in the Oregon House, is bubbling over with ideas about how to fix the state's health care system.
The Republican lawmaker represents 15 towns with under 10,000 population in an all-rural House district that takes in swaths of Douglas and Eastern Lane counties.
The Democratic Party is not fielding a candidate against him, and an independent dropped out of the race.
Hanna says health care is number one with his constituents and the most important issue facing the Legislature as the 2007 session fires up in January.
