DENVER -- The automated baggage system at Denver International Airport is as much as one month behind schedule and won't be ready for the facility's scheduled opening on May 15, a Continental Airlines official said in a letter to the city.
The city is not disclosing the baggage system's deficiencies and is favoring United Airlines at the expense of other airlines who use Denver said Dallas Belt, a Continental Airlines executive and chairman of the airport's baggage subcommittee, in an April 14 letter to city aviation director Jim DeLong.
