With one gold letter placed prominently on a pink background, Marcia Humphrey hopes thousands will find support as they or their loved ones battle breast cancer.
The Virginia Beach resident took the universally recognizable pink ribbon symbolizing breast cancer support and awareness, added the letter "S" to it and designed a small, wearable piece of enameled jewelry. The Breast Cancer Survivor Pin is Humphrey's way of helping others cope with the fear, uncertainty and trauma associated with diagnosis and treatment.
