Turin Networks, a provider of multi-service optical transport solutions for carrier, wireless, and private networks, announced that Broadwing Communications LLC has selected Turin Networks' Traverse Multi-service Transport Switch to upgrade their major metropolitan service areas (MSAs) nationwide.
The Traverse platform will serve as a multi-service on-ramp to Broadwing's all-optical network, enabling the company to deliver new packet-based services more quickly and efficiently.
