Oct. 23--A moody, surreal tragicomedy about a sad sack's adventures in the afterlife reeled in the biggest prize at this year's 14th annual Hamptons International Film Festival. "The Bothersome Man," a Norwegian production directed by Jens Lien, won the festival's Golden Starfish Award for narrative feature film. Six features in all were in competition for the prize. Honorable mention went to Rajnesh Domalpalli's directorial debut (and MFA thesis at Columbia University), "Vanaja." Lien, who made his feature debut with the 2003 romantic comedy, "Jonny Vang," receives more than $190,000 in production services. "Bothersome Man's" director ...
