The Lady Dons of West Las Vegas had those notes to mull over on the drive from Jacona back to San Miguel County on Saturday night. Any hope of tying Pojoaque for the District 2AAA championship was dashed after the Elkettes took a 25-23, 25-20, 25-13 victory in Ben Lujan Gymnasium. With one district match left against St. Michael's, Pojoaque (18-2 overall, 9-0 2AAA) will play host the District 2AAA Tournament championship, regardless of the outcome.
