Fleming's eyes set on World Cup
Mohali, Oct 23 (PTI) On the threshold of setting the record of leading in the highest number of one-day internationals, Stephen Fleming today said he has a "burning ambition" to lift the first ever World Cup for his country before he hangs up his boots.
At 33, Fleming knows time is perhaps running out for him to realise his cherished dream but he has not given up hope.
In charge of a side bogged by injuries and underperformers, Fleming has done a commendable job both as a captain and as a player.
But he does have a tinge of regret about his team missing out on big wins on account of inconsistency.
