Work has begun on rebuilding the Albert R. Broccoli 007 Stage at Pinewood Studios, just outside London, which was ravaged by fire in July. Local government authorities have given permission for the rebuild; the stage is expected to open early next year.
The summer blaze was so destructive that a full rebuild at the Buckinghamshire studio is being undertaken. The costs will be covered by insurance.
