Oct. 25--EDMOND -- Last year, Benton Whipple's work in English class was solid. Well, it was solid D, anyway, his mother, Janet Whipple, said. This year, Benton has turned into an A student who helps others in his class and the difference is Benton attends a same-gender English class for boys at Edmond North High School, Janet Whipple said.
