Here's an idea: afternoon games for the World Series.

Fans in St. Louis, denied Game 4 of the World Series on Wednesday by a saturating rain, awoke Thursday morning to a forecast of more of the same. Rain in the morning; rain and thunder at night; rain, thunder and lightning today.

The upshot was predictable. It happens every fall. Or at least those falls during which the World Series is impacted by dicey weather. Which is to say, yes, it happens every fall:

Some well-intentioned small thinker makes an appeal to hold baseball's signature event at a neutral warm weather and/or climate-controlled site. Go ahead, surf the `Net. The idea is being, um, floated anew.
