Is $30 too much for the opportunity to sample dozens of different wines, cheeses, organic brats, ice cream and a wide variety of foods and food ingredients?
Judging from the turnout at last weekend's Madison Food and Wine Show, lots of folks not only paid the money but probably ate too much as well.
Among the 150 or so exhibitors at the Exposition Hall at the Alliant Energy Center were companies that sell food and food-related items ranging from brick cheese to fine kitchen cabinetry. On that same floor just two weeks ago, a different crowd admired milking machines and cow magnets at World Dairy Expo.
