At The Market-- Hickory at Home is phasing out of metal beds and isn't showing any new product in the category here.
Jim Wall, director of consumer products for parent company Hickory Springs Mfg., said Hickory at Home only has about six remaining models.
"I have been phasing them out for about a year now," said Wall, who noted that the company has not brought out any metal beds for at least the past two markets.
"If you are going to be in the metal beds business, you have to cover all the price points and styles and need three or four times that many."
