Oct. 27--Omaha-area residents asked for it. And they got it. The Cheesecake Factory, an upscale casual-dining eatery, opens its 113th location and first in Nebraska on Nov. 1 in a separate building in the southwest part of Westroads Mall. "We have received so many e-mails, faxes and phone calls -- any way (Omaha residents) could communicate with us -- saying we have to bring the Cheesecake Factory to Omaha," said Howard Gordon, senior vice president.
