I always thought I would be a doctor,' murmurs Caterina Murino, the ridiculously sultry Italian actress who plays Solange in this autumn's hotly anticipated Bond film, Casino Royale, in which Daniel Craig debuts as James.
The film promises to rejuvenate the brand by returning to founding principles, with Bond as a violent sexual predator and the world he inhabits dark and immoral.
Scouted through an international search, the 29-year-old plays a character who gets her revenge on her arch-villain husband Alex Dimitrios (played by Simon Abkarian) by sleeping with Bond, and she is effusive in her praise for her rugged co-star.
